Todd Gurley terse about Week 1 role for Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley said he "felt good" about his role in Sunday's 30-27, Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Gurley seemed a bit testy with post-game reporters after rushing 14 times for 97 yards and catching 1 pass (1 target) for 4 yards in the opener. He led the Rams in yards from scrimmage, but only out-touched Malcolm Brown 15-11. This may be the new status quo for Gurley as the Rams try to manage his chronic knee issues. He will square off with the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 2 in what sets up for a likely shootout.
Gurley finished with 10.6 FanDuel points in Week 1.
