Cowboys' Amari Cooper dealing with 'muscle strain' in his foot
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is dealing with a muscle strain in his foot, according to Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones.
What It Means:
Cooper's injury has been described as plantar fasciitis and a strained heel as well. Whatever the injury is, the Cowboys do not appear to be worried even as Cooper will sit out all the preseason due to the ailment. If the wideout were to miss any time, Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb would be the biggest beneficiaries.
Cooper is projected for 85.1 catches, 1,176.9, and 8.5 touchdowns in 2019.
