Colts' Spencer Ware moved to reserve/PUP list
The Indianapolis Colts moved running back Spencer Ware to the reserve/PUP list.
Ware was on the active/PUP list with a "muscle injury" but being moved to the Reserve list means the veteran will be forced to miss at least the first six games of the season. That is a harsh blow to Ware's chances of making the Colts' 53-man roster. He signed a one-year deal this offseason to be the backup to Marlon Mack. Now, Jordan Wilkins and Jonathan Williams are the only backs left behind Mack.
Ware collected 470 total yards and 2 touchdowns on 71 touches in 2018 with the Kansas City Chiefs.
