Pats unsure when Demaryius Thomas (Achilles) will be medically cleared
The Athletic's Jeff Howe reports it's a "total guess" as to when New England Patriots wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (Achilles) will be cleared.
Thomas is currently on the PUP list as he recovers from surgery on a torn Achilles tendon. His absence makes it more likely he starts the season on the PUP list, making him ineligible to play in the first six games of the season. Maurice Harris, Julian Edleman, Phillip Dorsett, and N'Keal Harry hold down the top of the Pats WR depth chart for now.
Our models project Thomas for just 20.8 catches, 274.1 yards, and 1.9 touchdowns on 37.3 targets for New England in 2019.
