Amari Cooper in 'no rush' to sign a contract extension with Dallas
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is "in no rush" to sign a contract extension, per Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports.
Cooper is waiting for the market to play itself out as Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Tyreek Hill are all expected to sign an extension before Week 1. Currently, Odell Beckham is the NFL's highest-paid receiver at $18M per season, but that is likely to change soon. Cooper will be at training camp even without an extension signed.
Our models project Cooper for 85.5 catches on 129.3 targets for 1,183.7 yards and 8.5 touchdowns in 2019.
