Ravens start Jimmy Clausen over Matt Schaub
Jimmy Clausen is the Baltimore Ravens' starting quarterback Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
There was some late-week belief Matt Schaub would get the start, but it became clear in pre-game warmups that Clausen would be getting the nod.
Of the 49 quarterbacks with at least 50 opportunities this season, Schaub ranks 40th in Total Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Clausen is 47th in this metric. The Chiefs' pass defense ranks fourth according to total points prevented above expectation.
