Detroit Lions select tight end T.J. Hockenson eighth overall
The Detroit Lions have drafted tight end T.J. Hockenson with their 2019 first round pick.
What It Means:
Hockenson will be the third offensive player selected in the 2019 NFL Draft after being taken by the Lions eighth overall. Look for the former Iowa tight end to start immediately.
In 23 games, Hockenson produced 73 receptions for 1080 yards and 9 touchdowns.
