Chargers reportedly sign longtime Panther Thomas Davis
The Los Angeles Chargers agreed to terms with linebacker Thomas Davis, formerly of the Carolina Panthers, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Davis had been with the Panthers for his entire career after entering the league in 2015 as the 14th overall pick, but they previously informed him he wouldn't be brought back. The 35-year-old will likely play a significant role in the Chargers' front seven.
Davis recorded 74 tackles (42 solo) and 6 pass deflections in 2018.
