Rapoport: Raiders 'sleeper team' for Le'Veon Bell
The Oakland Raiders are a "sleeper team" for free agent running back Le'Veon Bell, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
"Oakland will be ready and is willing to spend for star power even after acquiring Antonio Brown," tweets Rapoport. Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin are both set to be free agents and the Raiders have the necessary cap space, so it's a practical landing spot for Bell. The New York Jets have been considered the favorite.
Bell has averaged 129.0 yards from scrimmage and totaled 42 touchdowns over 62 games in his career.
