Raiders acquire Antonio Brown from Pittsburgh for 3rd and 5th-rounders

The Oakland Raiders acquired wide receiver Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for third- and fifth-round picks.

What It Means:

Brown also landed a new contract in the deal, stretching three years for $50.125 million, including $30.125 guaranteed. For perspective, he was due $38.925 with $0 guaranteed in Pittsburgh. The veteran turns 31 this summer, but he led the NFL in touchdown receptions last season and remained one of the best players at his position. Brown's arrival in Oakland is an upgrade for Derek Carr, while JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington stand to benefit from his departure.

Brown caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns on 168 targets in 15 games last season.
