Giants GM declined to commit to Eli Manning for 2019
New York Giants general manager Giants GM Dave Gettleman refused to commit to Eli Manning as the team's starting quarterback for 2019.
Gettleman left the door open for all possibilities and said he wants to build the best team possible. The Giants passed on drafting a quarterback in 2018 and it's not immediately clear what the alternative would be to Manning, who is under contract for one more season.
Manning averaged 6.3 yards per dropback with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2018.
