Christian McCaffrey sits out rainy Panthers practice Thursday
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey did not participate in a rainy practice Thursday.
What It Means:
McCaffrey wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report and Jourdan Rodrigue of The Charlotte Observer thinks it's just a rest day ahead of what will likely be a big workload in Week 16 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor Heinicke will be making his first career start at quarterback for Carolina on Sunday.
McCaffrey is the 2nd running back overall in numberFire's Week 16 fantasy rankings. He's projected for 24.8 FanDuel points, at a cost of $9,300.
