Sammy Watkins (foot) reportedly could be out for Chiefs until playoffs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) will likely sit out versus the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday and is considered week-to-week, reports Sam Mellinger of The Kansas City Star.
Watkins, who hasn't played a full game since Week 9, is approaching the front end of what is reportedly a 4-6 week timeline. The Chiefs have a good chance of securing a first-round bye for the playoffs, so they may elect to err on the side of caution and hold Watkins out until the postseason. Kelvin Benjamin was signed Thursday to help fill the void.
Watkins is averaging 9.5 FanDuel points in 10 games this season, with 40 receptions for 519 yards and 3 touchdowns on 55 targets.
