Broncos' Jeff Heuerman (ribs, lung) done for season
Denver Broncos tight end Jeff Heuerman suffered broken ribs and a bruised lung in Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and is done for the season, Mike Klis of 9News reports.
What It Means:
Heuerman emerged as the top tight end option for Denver and was fourth on the team in targets. Matt LaCosse will take his role.
Heuerman finished the year with 31 catches on 48 targets for 281 yards and 2 touchdowns.
