Gary Barnidge has seven receptions for 91 yards as Browns fall

Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge caught 7-of-11 targets for 91 yards in the Browns' Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

What It Means:

Barnidge continues to pile up the stats during his career year. His 11 targets were third on the team behind Travis Benjamin (13) and Brian Hartline (12), but he was Josh McCown's No. 1 read before McCown left with a collarbone injury. With McCown in doubt for Week 13 and beyond, it'll be interesting to see if Barnidge's numbers slip.

Barnidge turned his 11 targets into 8.48 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP), continuing his breakout season. Among tight ends with at least 30 targets, he entered the game ranked first in Reception NEP per target. In Week 13, Cleveland takes on the Cincinnati Bengals, who rank 14th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
