Browns' Josh McCown suffered possible broken collarbone
Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown suffered a "possible broken collarbone" Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports.
Cleveland coach Mike Pettine said after the game McCown was dealing with a collarbone injury, but he also said the team will know more after tests Tuesday. If the collarbone is indeed broken, McCown's season will be over. The Browns are now faced with the interesting decision of starting Austin Davis, who put them in a position to win Monday night, or Johnny Manziel.
Among quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs, McCown entered the week ranked 21st in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back while Manziel checked in 28th. Davis finished the loss to the Ravens 7-for-10 for 77 yards and a score.
