Josh McCown exits early, Browns turn to Austin Davis
Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown exited Monday night's Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens with a right (throwing) shoulder injury.
McCown got off to a slow start, completing just two of his first seven passes, but he was on fire heading into halftime completing 16-of-26 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown. McCown threw for just 23 yards in the second half before getting leveled by two Ravens defenders on a deep shot to Travis Benjamin late in the third quarter.
With Johnny Manziel serving as the third-stringer, Cleveland turned to backup Austin Davis, who promptly led the Browns on a game-tying drive. McCown's status will be updated after the game. If he misses time, it'll be interesting to see what the Browns do.
