Denver's Peyton Manning not expected back anytime soon
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (foot) isn't expected back "anytime soon," ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports.
The NBC cameras spotted Manning in a modified walking boot before Sunday evening's game against the Patriots while Brock Osweiler won his second straight start. The Broncos appear content to let Manning heal and give Osweiler an extended audition before the postseason. Manning has no value in redraft leagues -- or really any league outside of the deepest two-quarterback formats.
Entering Week 11, among the 37 signal callers with 100 drop backs this year, Manning ranks 33rd in Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. Osweiler finished Week 12's win over the Patriots with -1.14 Passing NEP.
