Patriots place Aaron Dobson on injured reserve
The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Aaron Dobson (ankle) on the injured reserve, ending his season.
What It Means:
The Patriots are starting to run out of receivers, with Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman also on the sidelines right now.
Dobson hasn't been especially effective this year, recording 0.57 Reception Net Expected Points per target, but with so many injuries to the receiving corps, even losing Dobson hurts. New England is left with Brandon LaFell, Chris Harper, Keshawn Martin and Matt Slater at receiver.
