Sam Bradford inactive for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford (shoulder) has been declared inactive for Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions.
Bradford has been cleared from his concussion, but he is still dealing with a sprain in his left (non-throwing) shoulder and did not take many reps in practice on a short week. Bradford did some light work in pregame warmups. There was some chatter he would dress and serve as an emergency option, but he'll be in street clothes for this one.
Mark Sanchez will be under center for the Eagles this week, but Bradford is fully expected to regain his starting spot when healthy. Among passers with 100 drop backs this season, Bradford ranks 26th in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
