C.J. Beathard's 245 yards, 2 touchdowns not enough for 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard completed 16-of-23 passes for 245 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, and rushed 3 times for 21 yards, in a 33-30, Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
Beathard connected with Marquise Goodwin for a pair of first-half touchdowns and was rather impressive while helping the 49ers carry a seven-point lead late into the fourth quarter. However, an interception with only 1:07 remaining and Aaron Rodgers doing Aaron Rodgers things allowed Green Bay to walk off with a field goal. Beathard has easily exceeded expectations since taking over for Jimmy Garoppolo (ACL). He will look to keep it going versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
Beathard scored 18.9 FanDuel points on Monday. numberFire's models project him to score 16.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,400 in Week 7. He's currently the QB23 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
