Giants' Rhett Ellison (foot) will not play in Week 6 against the Eagles
New York Giants tight end Rhett Ellison is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Giants were already without TE1 Evan Engram, and with the loss of Ellison will be down to just two TEs on the roster for tonight. The biggest beneficiary here is Sterling Shepard, who should see an uptick in targets.
Ellison has 11 catches on 14 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown this season. He likely would have been in line for a decent amount of work tonight had he been healthy.
