Report: Adrian Peterson plans to play through shoulder strain for Washington
Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is dealing with a shoulder strain and will get a second opinion, but intends to play versus the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
Peterson suffered the injury during Washington's loss on Monday night. The 33-year-old is as tough as they come but it remains to be seen if the second opinion will echo Peterson's optimism. He's topped 120 total yards in two games this season and failed to gain more than 50 in the other two.
numberFire's models currently project Peterson to score 10.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,900 on Sunday. He is the RB20 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings.
