Analyzing auction drafts in fantasy football is difficult because, to be truthful, there's not a lot of data out there on them.

There's generally not a set standard in terms of how much money each league manager should be allocated, and there really aren't many mock auction drafts. Because of this, we have to use different types of information in more interesting, untraditional ways.

The fact is, you've got to be on top of your mental game when doing an auction draft. Yes, that may be difficult as you enjoy an adult beverage (or nine) during your draft, but keeping the idea in the back of your head that auctions can be won with mind-game strategies is incredibly important.
