The 10 Best Quarterbacks for the 2014 Fantasy Football Season

After a ridiculous 2013 campaign, is Peyton Manning the top fantasy football quarterback option in 2014?

If you checked out the recap of numberFire's 14-team fantasy draft earlier this month, you may have noted the ridiculous lengths the staff went to in avoiding the selection of a quarterback. Unlike the participants in most fantasy drafts, the folks here at numberFire tend to follow a late-round quarterback strategy.

That's because the position is so balanced and predictable. Our projections currently see 14 of the 16 highest scorers in standard fantasy leagues this season as quarterbacks, with 26 of the top 44 coming from the position as well. That means you can get a high-scoring player off of your waiver wire in a 12-team league, and play the matchups to get the most out of the position with minimal investment.

But not everyone is a subscriber to the late-round quarterback strategy, or you may be in a draft where one of the better options falls to you later on in the proceedings. Either way, you need to have an idea as to who your top-10 players are at the position, because if one falls to you, you'd do well to take him and start him every week this season.

Based on numberFire projections, here are the top-10 quarterbacks for fantasy football this season, starting with the 10th best.
