Week 11 Roundtable: the numberFire Experts' NFL Predictions

Foles or Leftwich, some Marcel Reece love, and more: Brees vs. Manning, A Week of Upsets, and more: find out what the people behind numberFire predict for week 11

Each week, the great minds behind numberFire will give you some answers to the big questions of the weekend. Can Sean continue his hot streak? And will anyone have the guts to pick the Saints' defense? It's time to find out.

Game of the Week Pick: Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers. Who wins the Concussion Bowl?

Keith Goldner, Chief Analyst: San Fran at home. They have the offensive edge and get to play at home.

Nik Bonaddio, CEO: Chicago. San Francisco has looked strangely mortal at home, getting blown out by the Giants and nearly choking against the Rams. Chicago will have something to prove after being sonned by Houston.

Michael Worthington, CTO: How about a tie for San Fran two weeks in a row? My guess is Cutler sits the game out, giving San Fran the slight edge despite Alex Smith's own concussion problems as he'll likely play.

Sean Weinstock, COO: The team with the QB who actually shows up at the game, so the Niners. Obviously. Also, Randy Moss goes off for 4 TDs and 250 yards.

Zach Warren, Editor: When both offenses are floundering, I go to the better defense. With their playmaking ability, I think that's the Bears.

GotW Records: Sean: 6-3, Keith and Nik: 5-5, Zach: 4-4, Michael: 3-5

Which game this week is your upset special?

Keith: Panthers over Tampa Bay at home. Carolina's record does not accurately reflect their talent.

Nik: I like the Chiefs to finally put it together and beat the Bengals in Arrowhead.

Michael: My eyes will be on the Colts upsetting New England.

Sean: I'll be watching Indy vs. New England. Almost didn't have the gusto to make that call, but I like the game.

Zach: Carolina has to put all of the pieces together one of these days. I think it happens this week against Tampa Bay.

Upset Special Records: Keith: 5-5, Sean: 4-5, Michael and Zach: 3-5, Nik: 3-7

Who is more likely to win this week: Byron Leftwich (vs. BAL) or Nick Foles (vs. WSH)?

Keith: Nick Foles -- let's go!!!

Nik: Foles. Leftwich is a terrible fit for Todd Haley's offense.

Michael: I didn't like the OT win over the reckless Chiefs last week, so I'm actually going to take Philly over Washington.

Sean: Nick Foles. Baltimore's too good a team for any other team to not bring their A game. Big Ben is Pittsburgh's A game.

Zach: As much it pains me to say, it's Foles and the Eagles. I thought about them even as my upset special this week.

Who are you picking for a survivor pool this week?

Keith: Denver over San Diego. Norv will once again have his hands full with Peyton and the Broncos can virtually lock up the division with a win.

Nik: Texans will curbstomp the Jags by two touchdowns at least.

Michael: Dallas over Cleveland.

Sean: Denver over San Diego.

Zach: The Jaguars are bad. The Texans are not. Division dominance prevails.

Survivor Records: Survivor Records: Michael and Zach: 6-2, Nik: 7-3, Keith: 6-4, Sean: 5-4

Who will be the best currently under-the-radar fantasy player this week?

Keith: Marcel Reece blew up last week and has the talent (and will get the playing time) to do it again.

Nik: Marcel Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeece. Dude is going to get some serious points, especially in a PPR league.

Michael: Just checked my leagues and Andy Dalton is still available in all of them. KC poses an easy opportunity for Dalton to repeat last week's performance against the Giants.

Sean: Marcel Reece. If you were watching the Raiders last week, you know what I'm talking about.

Zach: I really like Donald Brown in a surprising bounce-back game. He's looked healthy in practice, Ballard hasn't been great, and New England's run D can be bad.

Last week's top under-the-radar pick: Goes to Nik this week: "Marcel Reece. Won't blow up, but he'll be decent." I'd say that's fair.
