Who sits atop our power rankings to start the 2015 season?

As the NFL season kicks off, all 32 teams hold optimism that they will be the ones hoisting the Lombardi Trophy by season's end. And with each team sitting with a 0-0 record, everyone begins the year on even ground in their quest for this ultimate prize.

But not all teams are created equal. Whether it be personnel, coaching, luck, or some combination of the three, some teams are just in a better position to make a Super Bowl run than others.

So with that being said, using our nERD metric -- which measures how many points each team would be expected to beat a neutral opponent by -- here are our top-five ranked teams entering the 2015 NFL season.
