3 Fantasy Football Defensive Streaming Options for Week 13

The Green Bay Packers host Josh Rosen and the Arizona Cardinals Sunday. Which other defenses sitting on the waiver wire can you pick up and play in Week 13?

After a couple of down weeks for our top streaming option, things turned around in Week 12. The Dallas Cowboys posted the fifth-best fantasy score among all defenses behind three sacks and three interceptions from Colt McCoy.

Elsewhere, the Buffalo Bills posted the 10th-best fantasy score in Week 12. Unfortunately, our other choice, the Indianapolis Colts, finished outside the top-15.

With the Cowboys top-5 finish, our preferred streaming choice is now averaging 10.2 fantasy points per game in standard leagues. That continues to be the second-best per game average among all defenses, trailing only the Chicago Bears (12.6 points per game).

Heading into Week 13, there are about five to six widely available defenses in enticing matchups. But our top three choices include two big home favorites and one of the league's top teams returning from a bye.

As always, every week in this column we search the waiver wire to identify low-owned teams set up with a great matchup. The focus is on teams owned in about 50% or fewer of Yahoo fantasy leagues. Our goal is to identify teams poised to be a top-12 scorer (start-able in standard leagues) for that given week.

Here are three defenses you can pick up off the waiver wire and play in Week 13.
