Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jameis Winston has not yet played a full game this season, but he'll be making his first start on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

Winston finished a pedestrian QB18 on a per-game basis in fantasy football last year, but the mid-range of quarterbacks is so tight that a jump of only 1.0 fantasy point per game would have moved him up ahead of Drew Brees for 13th place. He also averaged at least 16 fantasy points per game in each of his two seasons before that. So while he may not be a top-end fantasy producer, he's no slouch.

The way the Atlanta Falcons have played this year, any "no slouch" fantasy quarterback (and even some slouches) is firmly in play against them.

Atlanta's defense ranks 30th in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, which includes sitting 27th against the pass. They've given up at least 20 fantasy points to each of the last four quarterbacks they have faced (28.6 per game), and even when we include their juicy Nick Foles matchup in Week 1, Atlanta has allowed the league's fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing passers.
