Phillip Lindsay, RB, Colorado

Lindsay is an older running back prospect that's significantly undersized at 5' 7" and 190 pounds. Despite that, he touched the ball well over 600 times and exceed 1,700 yards from scrimmage each of his final two seasons at Colorado, scoring 32 touchdowns in those 26 games. At the East-West Shrine Game, Lindsay led all running backs with 51 rushing yards on 12 carries.

In addition to displaying an aggressive -- and sometimes reckless -- running style that earned him the Tasmanian Devil nickname, Lindsay has been extremely reliable as both a pass protector and with his ball security. Indeed, forcing tackles and pass blocking are areas where Lindsay was graded favorably by PFF.

The league is now in the era where sub-200-pound backs like Cohen and Chris Thompson are game changers. Going forward, players like Lindsay deserve further examination. Even though he didn't get that chance at the combine, Colorado is one of three schools with earliest date on the pro day schedule. Lindsay's measurables will be known Wednesday, March 7th.
