The Buffalo Bills take on the New York Jets in Week 9. What other defenses are sitting on your waiver wire and in a good spot this week?

Week 8 was another solid week for our picks, as two of the three teams we highlighted finished in the top 10 of weekly scoring. Our top choice, the Cincinnati Bengals, finished 8th in weekly scoring, while our second choice, the New Orleans Saints, finished 10th.

Heading into Week 9, we're targeting a team who has been a top-10 defense in every week of the season, a home favorite coming off a bye, and one team facing a backup quarterback.

As always, we search the waiver wire every week to identify low-owned teams that have a great matchup for fantasy production. The focus will be on teams owned in about 50% or fewer of Yahoo fantasy leagues and our goal is to find squads poised to finish as a top-12 scorer.
