5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 3

Week 3 is a wrap!

And what a week that was. Things kicked off with the Los Angeles Rams winning a Thursday night thriller by just two points after the San Francisco 49ers put up 19 points in the fourth quarter. The Philadelphia Eagles then topped the New York Giants, but it took Jake Elliott nailing the seventh-longest field goal in NFL history to do it after New York scored 24 points in the fourth quarter in a comeback attempt of their own. And that was right after the New England Patriots needed a touchdown with 23 seconds left in their game to beat the Houston Texans by three points.

But the Green Bay Packers were not to be outdone, as Aaron Rodgers found Jordy Nelson in the end zone with only 21 seconds left to force overtime with the Cincinnati Bengals before sending Andy Dalton and friends home with an 0-3 record.

Before we move on to Week 4, here are five stats to know -- both traditional and our advanced statistics -- through the first three weeks of gridiron action.
