The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft was something else. Aside from Myles Garrett going first overall, we really didn't know what to expect for the 31 other picks.

Not many could have foreseen how the second pick shook out: the Chicago Bears traded up a spot to select Mitchell Trubisky from North Carolina.

Solomon Thomas, a defensive end from Stanford, third overall to the San Francisco 49ers made sense. Then LSU running back Leonard Fournette went fourth to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

What projected to be a defense-heavy first round saw seven of the top 10 picks come on the offensive side of the ball.
