The 10 Most Impactful Plays of Week 3

Ethan Westbrooks didn't climb any mountains in Week 3, but his fumble return was one of the week's top plays.

One of the greatest investments I’ve ever made was not a stock, not property, and not even monetary at all. This summer, while planning a trip to Devil’s Tower, Yellowstone, and Little Bighorn Battlefield, I purchased an annual pass to the U.S. National Park Service for the first time.

It wasn’t a small consideration, by any means, and my fiancée and I pushed ourselves through the nearly 25 hours of driving in the span of a week we did in order to get to all the parks we wanted to visit. Still, the emotional impact of being in some of the most history-steeped places in America was well worth the time, the money, and the sleep deprivation we encumbered by going out there. I urge you, if you ever have the time or resources, go to the National Parks closest to you; they are important preservations of our nation’s legacy -- both beautiful and sobering.

While Week 3 of the 2016 NFL season cannot possibly reflect the purple mountains’ majesty or glow like the amber waves of grain, there were still some impactful plays that we should highlight and revisit. You don’t even need a pass to do so; you have me as your ranger and guide.
