Georgia's Yante Maten has entered the NBA Draft without an agent
Georgia Bulldogs junior center Yante Maten has made himself eligible for the 2017 NBA Draft but has not hired an agent, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
What It Means:
Maten has been a dominant force down low for the Bulldogs the last two seasons, prompting the junior to test out his draft stock for the NBA. Standing at just 6'8", Maten is a bit undersized to play power forward at the next level and is currently projected to go undrafted. He has until May 24 to withdraw his name from consideration and return to Georgia for his senior season.
Maten averaged 18.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor his junior season.
