Joel Berry injures his other his ankle in North Carolina's win

North Carolina Tar Heels guard Joel Berry tweaked his left ankle during Sunday's win over the Kentucky Wildcats and may not be able to practice this week, according to Andrew Carter of the News & Observer.

What It Means:

Berry entered the game with his right ankle below 100 percent after spraining it in the Round of 32 versus the Arkansas Razorbacks. Now he is dealing with an injury to his 'good' ankle. Berry says he's dealing with a lot of pain, but he has five days to rest before Saturday's game versus the Oregon Ducks. Head coach Roy Williams would like for his point guard to practice by Thursday or Friday but will err on the side of caution.

Berry has averaged just 12.5 points and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 32.6 percent from the floor.
