Purdue beats Indiana behind Caleb Swanigan's double-double
Purdue Boilermakers sophomore forward Caleb Swanigan scored a game-high 21 points with 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks in Tuesday's win over the Indiana Hoosiers.
What It Means:
Swanigan struggled from the field, going 5-for-14, but cleaned up at the stripe, sinking 11-of-12 free throw attempts. His double-double was his 24th of the season, the most in all of college basketball. Tuesday was a great bounceback performance, as the sophomore averaged just 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds his previous two games.
Swanigan is averaging 18.6 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this season.
