Markelle Fultz looking doubtful to play Wednesday for Washington
Washington Huskies freshman guard Markelle Fultz (knee) still has not been medically cleared to play Wednesday versus the UCLA Bruins, according to Christian Caple of the Tacoma News Tribune.
What It Means:
Fultz has missed three of the last five games with a sore knee and is looking doubtful to suit up for the Huskies on Wednesday. The current favorite to be the number one pick in the NBA Draft, Fultz will likely play it safe with the Huskies season going nowhere. If he is unable to go, David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle would likely start in the backcourt.
Fultz is leading all freshmen in the nation with 23.2 points per game while posting a 114.0 offensive rating.
