Kelan Martin delivers down the stretch as Butler upsets Villanova
Butler Bulldogs junior forward Kelan Martin scored a team-high 22 points with eight rebounds off the bench in Wednesday's win over the second-ranked Villanova Wildcats.
What It Means:
Martin helped lead a charge in the second half, going 7-for-11 from the field and 3-for-6 from three for just his third 20-plus point game in two months. He scored nine of his points, including two three-pointers, during the 18-0 run that iced the game for Butler.
Martin is averaging 15.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 three-pointers per game this season.
