Greg Monroe signs one-year deal with Toronto
The Toronto Raptors have signed free agent center Greg Monroe to a one-year, $3.2M deal, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
Monroe will provide much-needed depth at center behind Jonas Valanciunas following the trade of Jakob Poeltl in the Kawhi Leonard deal. Monroe is not expected to more than 20 minutes per game, as long as Valanciunas is healthy.
Monroe averaged 10.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 56.5% from the field in 51 games with the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, and Boston Celtics in 2017-18.
