Suns reportedly receive Richaun Holmes from Sixers
The Philadelphia 76ers will trade power forward Richaun Holmes to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for cash considerations, reports Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
The 76ers needed to clear cap space in order to sign Jonah Bolden, the 37th overall pick from the 2017 draft, to a 4-year, $7 million rookie deal. Holmes figures to compete with veteran Tyson Chandler for backup center minutes behind 1st overall pick Deandre Ayton.
Holmes averaged 6.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.6 blocks in 15.5 minutes per game for the 76ers last season.
