Nikola Jokic re-ups with Denver for five years, $148M
The Denver Nuggets and center Nikola Jokic have agreed on a max five-year, $148 million deal, according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.
The 22-year-old Jokic will be sticking around with Denver until 2023 and is locked in as the franchise's cornerstone player. The move was long expected after the team declined his option for next season, to set up the long-term deal.
Jokic averaged 18.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 2017-18.
