Cavs' Tristan Thompson fined $25,000, not suspended for Game 2
Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson was fined $25,000 but did not receive a suspension following his ejection in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Thompson was initially given a flagrant 2 foul for making contact with Draymond Green in Game 1, but the league office downgraded it to just a flagrant 1 after review. The big man will not miss any time and is expected to remain in the starting lineup on Sunday.
Thompson has averaged 6.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 27.8 minutes in his last 7 postseason games, all starts.
