Jrue Holiday (leg) minutes cap to rise to 20 for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday's minutes limit increase to 20 minutes for New Orleans' regular-season opener against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.
The initial plan was to keep Holiday under 15 minutes per game until around January as he continues to recover from a leg injury. But with Norris Cole and Tyreke Evans both injured, the Pelicans need healthy bodies on the floor.
At a projected 16.72 minutes in the season opener, our algorithms have Holiday at 7.1 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.0 rebounds. This still leaves plenty of opportunity for Nate Robinson, who the algorithms have at 10.6 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds over 24.87 minutes on opening night. This gives him the most projected value of all point-guard eligible players on FanDuel for Tuesday night's slate.
