Thaddeus Young's double-double not enough as Pacers fall in Game 7

Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young scored 14 points on 6-for-13 shooting Monday, to go with 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal in a 105-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

What It Means:

The Pacers and Young fought hard, but LeBron James was too much to handle in Game 7. Young has a $13.7 million player option with the Pacers for the 2018-19 season, and it remains to be seen whether he'll opt-in, or test free agency. There is a chance Young opts out and then tries to negotiate a longer-term extension with the Pacers, but other than him, Indiana will head to the offseason with almost their entire roster returning and a lot of cap space.

Young finished his 2017-18 season averaging 27.6 FanDuel points per game.
