Thunder to offer Kanter near max-level contract
The Thunder are set to meet with Enes Kanter once free agency begins and offer him a near max-level contract for three or four years.
What It Means:
Kanter had a solid 4.1 nERD last season with 15.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. However, his defensive inability on the interior hinders his overall impact. The Mavs are also pursuing Kanter, but a return to OKC seems the most likely result.
