Dennis Smith Jr. (knee) out as Mavericks face Magic in second half of back-to-back set on Wednesday
Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (left knee soreness) is not playing on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.
Smith will join Dirk Nowitzki (ankle), Dwight Powell (knee), Harrison Barnes (rest), and possibly Salah Mejri (questionable, knee) on the shelf tonight as Dallas closes out a back-to-back set in a game with significant lottery implications on the line. Yogi Ferrell, Aaron Harrison, and J.J. Barea will all help fill the void in the Mavericks' backcourt.
DSJ is averaging 27.7 FanDuel points per game this season.
