Russell Westbrook's 44 points not enough as Warriors beat Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook scored 44 points on 15-for-26 shooting Tuesday, to go with 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in a 111-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Even in a duel against his former teammate, Kevin Durant, Westbrook couldn't overcome a tough effort from the Warriors on Tuesday. OKC is now sitting in the 6th seed in the West and a half game back of the 4th and 5th seeds heading in to play Wednesday. The Thunder won't be back in action until Saturday against the Houston Rockets.
Westbrook is averaging 54.1 FanDuel points per game this season.
