Lakers' Isaiah Thomas (hip) has successful surgery, will miss four months
Los Angeles Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas (hip) had successful arthroscopic surgery to his right hip on Thursday and he is expected to be sidelined for four months.
With the season almost over, we pretty much knew Thomas would be out for the season when the news of his surgery broke. The four month timeline is good news for Thomas though, who will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. For the rest of the season, Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart will take care of point guard duties for the Lakers.
Thomas finished the season averaging 22.9 FanDuel points per game.
