Chris Paul (rest) officially out for Rockets on Thursday night
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul will not play against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.
What It Means:
Paul is dealing with some mild soreness in his left hamstring but head coach Mike D'Antoni said the veteran would be available if necessary and that the absence has more to do with getting some rest down the stretch. Eric Gordon will start for the Rockets.
